Shaunna Newton, MPH

Senior Advisor of Research & Strategy

Shaunna brings a decade of experience working in public health research, program design, and outreach to communities. She has worked directly with stakeholders at the local, state, and federal level to conduct research to understand substance use disorder (SUD) at the behavioral and community level. She had additionally designed research-based initiatives, including outreach campaigns to equip local stakeholders with the right insights and materials to promote SUD prevention, harm reduction, and treatment. She has informed both local and national initiatives, including SUD initiatives in Washington, DC., Maryland, and West Virginia.
